Wayfarers or Aviators or both?

Wayfarers

The Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses have been manufactured by Ray-Ban since 1952. Wayfarers were popular in the 1950s and 1960s and have been enjoying a revival since the mid-2000s. Wayfarers, sometimes cited as the best-selling design of sunglasses in history are claimed to be one of the most enduring fashion items of the 20th century.

Wayfarers are a pop culture icon and are used by famous celebrities; they are deemed to be a general status symbol embodying "cool". The glasses were especially popular in the 1980s thanks to the movies such as The Blues Brothers and Risky Business.

Aviators

Aviators are another style that's sort of been in there the past few years, not quite dying out but not quite coming to the fore.

Aviator Sunglasses have come a long way since their introduction in 1936. Initially manufactured for military use in 1936 by the Ray-Ban company, the unique drooping tear-drop frame design has become an iconic fixture of pop culture fashion. Endlessly modified and updated, aviator sunglasses will never fall out of favour.

Whats your favourite??

  1. I love both! Wayfarers look amazing! Wanna look like a chic geek, Wayfarers it is! Id wear em for school spirit days and everything! But for a stroll in the park or in the beach, Id wear Aviators.
It also depends on your forehead and shape of your head. :)
